What are the key decisions from the Q2 board meeting?
Here are the three key decisions:
Germany launch confirmed for Q3, starting Berlin region.
Hybrid work finalised, two office days minimum.
€50K budget for AI customer service approved.
You tested AI with real client data and the output was amazing. Then someone asked: "Where does this data actually go?"
The honest answer, for most AI tools: somewhere in the US. Into a system you don't control. Under terms that change every few months. That's not how you want to handle your clients' data. Or your colleagues'. Or your internal business information.
Klai runs on European servers. Your data is never used to train models, never shared, never used to improve a model. That's how you work safely with client information or business data in Klai.
There's no separate "compliance mode" because the whole system is built privacy-safe from the ground up. And everything is open source. You can read the code and see exactly how Klai works. Or run Klai yourself on your own hardware in your own data centre.
On top of that, Klai is steward-owned. That means the company cannot be sold, after which terms change or foreign companies suddenly gain access to your data.
Klai gives you the same AI productivity you use every day, for chat, summaries, writing and translation. And adds privacy by default.
But Klai goes further.
Klai turns meetings, documents, and decisions into a knowledge base you can actually query. No more knowledge lost in inboxes or locked in one colleague's head.
Your organisation's collective memory, finally usable.
Ask questions, summarise documents, write emails, translate with formatting intact.
But Klai can do more: create knowledge bases, add documents or web pages. Query them directly in the conversation. Answers come with source references, so you always know where it came from.
All your knowledge, from procedures to project files, searchable and available to everyone. No more "Erik knows that, but he's off today." And you easily add new knowledge from a chat session.
With your existing Google or Microsoft account, or with email. Fits your current environment.
Upload documents or connect your existing systems. Klai indexes everything automatically.

Try it yourself. Ask Klai a question about our product.
You know AI works. The question is whether you can approve it with confidence and roll it out for your team. Klai is built for the people who carry that decision.
No US cloud in the chain, no CLOUD Act exposure. Fully compliant with the GDPR and the European AI Act. The sub-processor list and DPA are open and publicly available, no NDA needed. And the code is open source, so you can see exactly how Klai works.
Everything is open source. Standard components, proper documentation. Read the source code, audit the setup, run it on your own infrastructure if you want. Nothing is hidden behind a vendor API or locked to infrastructure you don't control.
You know your team uses AI. The question is whether you have a grip on it. Klai gives you that: a privacy-friendly AI environment where you can safely process confidential information. And where your organisation's collective knowledge finally becomes truly usable, without dependence on a vendor that changes its terms next year.
Klai is steward-owned. The company belongs to its mission, not to shareholders. It cannot be sold, acquired or taken public. That is in our articles of association. Everything we build is open source: you can read the source code, have it audited or run it yourself.

* Since April 2026, Microsoft Copilot routes EU data by default to the US, Canada and Australia for extra capacity (Flex Routing). Microsoft's chief legal officer testified under oath in the French Parliament that no contract can circumvent the CLOUD Act.
Most vendors require an NDA before you can read their sub-processor list. Ours is public. Read it before you decide, not after you've already signed.
Privacy isn't enough if you can't verify what's underneath. Here's how Klai backs it up.
Everything runs in Europe. No US cloud in the chain, no CLOUD Act exposure. Your data doesn't leave the EU.
Your data is yours and stays yours. Klai doesn't use it to train models and doesn't share it with anyone. You decide what happens with your data.
Every product, every line of code is public. You can read it, have it audited, or run it yourself on your own infrastructure. You don't have to take our word for it.
Klai cannot be sold, acquired, or taken public. That is in our articles of association. The infrastructure you build on doesn't change owners.
No filter to work around, no disclaimer excluding confidential information. Personal data, contracts, client files: simply welcome.
A solution your DPO can approve. Our DPA and sub-processor list are public, no NDA required. And your AI literacy obligation under the AI Act? Covered by an environment that is open source and fully auditable.
